A couple of weeks ago, my friend Melanie wrote about the Smooth Away<\/a>, a hair-removal device that touts itself as “easy, safe, and painless.” Ordinarily I wouldn’t be taken in by such a claim, but given that someone I know and trust had found it to be true, I decided to give it a go myself and bought a kit on eBay.<\/p>\n It arrived in the mail this afternoon and right away I set to buffing the unwanted hair from my legs (which I hadn’t shaved since last summer). Even after Melanie’s report of success I was a little skeptical, but hot damn, it worked<\/i>! Like seriously worked, as well as or maybe even better than shaving, and it was<\/i> easy, it was<\/i> safe, and believe it or not, it was<\/i> painless!
