{"id":125,"date":"2004-04-01T17:27:08","date_gmt":"2004-04-01T15:27:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/home.tjerngren.net\/wp\/?p=125"},"modified":"2004-04-01T17:27:08","modified_gmt":"2004-04-01T15:27:08","slug":"this-and-that","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beverlyrevelry.com\/?p=125","title":{"rendered":"This and That"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier today we went to town and, among other things, I went to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aquaspa.se\"> Aqua Spa<\/a> to use the gift certificate for a body scrub and <i>kurbad<\/i> (no idea how to translate that &#8212; it&#8217;s a bath) that my sisters-in-law gave me for the birthday last year.  It was very relaxing and my skin is silky-smooth now.  I could get used to that sort of treatment (not sure my pocketbook could, though).  We so need a bathtub.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow&#8217;s my trip to Stockholm and I&#8217;m really looking forward to it.  It&#8217;s been almost a year since I was there last, which means I haven&#8217;t seen my Stockholm friends <i>or<\/i> eaten at Pizza Hut in way too long.  I&#8217;m so excited at the prospect of hanging around the city and doing my own thing, with nobody but myself to worry about.  I hardly ever go anywhere these days without one or the other of the kids, and if I do, it seems I&#8217;m always having to hurry up and get done with whatever I&#8217;m doing so that I can get back to the kids.  I love being an at-home mom and I wouldn&#8217;t trade it for anything, but I could use a day on my own.<\/p>\n<p>And last, but certainly not least, the new issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mosaicminds.net\">Mosaic Minds<\/a> is out today, so check it out if you haven&#8217;t already.  There&#8217;s plenty to read there, including my contributions: <i>Gravy Train<\/i> and a piece of short fiction.
