Asbj\u00f8rn has been plodding along slowly but surely on his weight-loss journey.\u00a0 We took him to the vet’s office yesterday for an official weigh-in, and since September of last year he’s lost a total of 7 kilos (a bit over 15 pounds), or 17% of his starting weight.\u00a0 Olof and I both think he’s looking pretty good, but the experts say he’s got some ways to go yet, so they reduced his already meager daily ration (at least that means a bag of food will last a day or two longer — good news, ’cause that stuff ain’t cheap!), and sent us on our way with words of encouragement ringing in our ears.\u00a0 I’m still not convinced he can go down as low as they’re recommending, but we’ll carry on fighting the good fight.\u00a0 Someday he’ll thank us for it.<\/p>\n
