I went to see the district nurse today, and not only did she confirm the pharmacist’s diagnosis of sun eczema, but she went one better and gave me a prescription for antihistamines. Looks like I’ve gone and got myself a case of what the Swedes call “sun eczema,” a sort of allergic reaction to UV rays, if I understand correctly.
